CSE department has organized an alumni activity ”Planning Career after B.Tech” by Mr. J. Nagababu of 2004 batch and Mr. L. Pavan Kumar of 2006 batch, for II B.Tech on 1st October 2016. Mr.J.Nagababu is presently working as Senior Software Engineer in Wipro, Hyderabad. He stressed on what the industry is expecting from engineers and what does an engineer need to do to adapt to changing industry expectations. Mr.L.Pavan Kumar is presently working as officer in SBI, Challapalli. He shared his experiences in Gudlavalleru Engineering College and advised the students to utilize the library and e-resources for updating their knowledge. Both Mr.J. Nagababu and Mr.L.Pavan Kumar have educated the students that the physical impairment is not a limiting factor if you are having a strong will power to succeed in life. . Both Mr.Nagababu (CSE) and Mr.Pavan Kumar (CSE) are visually challenged persons. They have created awareness to the student to plan good career objectives both in skills development and to get good job. They have discussed the role of CSE in business domain.

They have given the following guide lines to the students:

  2. Plan for higher studies-M.S & MBA
  3. How to prepare for MAT, CAT & GRE
  4. To improve communication skills by listening video lectures & practice sessions.

  6. Importance of the programming subjects and the current technologies
  7. Importance of good GATE scope in securing jobs: Government and IT Sectors
  8. How to prepare for GATE exam and the importance of the core subjects.
  9. Choosing right Career Objective
  10. Plan to achieve the Career Objective
  11. How to get hired during the Campus or Off Campus Recruitment
  12. How to improve Communication Skills and to get Cut off marks in the recruitment test
  13. How to face the Technical and HR interviews.
