CSE department organized an alumni activity ” Orientation on Importance of GATE and How to improve Coding Skills” by Mr.M.V. Ravi Teja for III and II B.Tech on 28th December 2018. Mr.M.V. Ravi Teja (12 481A0582) is 12 batch student. Now he is pursuing M.Tech in IIT, Madras with GATE 2017 (Rank-140). He placed in AQR CAPITAL with a pay of 29.5 LPA+incentives in M.Tech II year. He created awareness among the students about importance of GATE and different coding challenges in the interview.
He had given the following guidelines to the students:
- How to plan the career objective.
- The importance of GATE for securing the good job.
- Benefit of GATE score in both Government and IT industry.
- Specified different websites for improving the coding skills like GeeksforGeeks,CodeVita, Kackerrank.com…etc.
- Different websites for improving aptitude and reasoning ability.
